When you log meals, we collect meal photos and store meal details such as nutrition estimates, ingredients, timestamps, notes, and progress information. Meal photos may be sent for analysis as described below.

We never collect your weight progress photos. Weight progress photos stay only on your device and are not uploaded or synced to your account.

When you ask Deglem to analyze a meal photo, the image is compressed and sent through our backend to an AI provider so nutrition estimates can be generated. The provider may process the image and prompt only to return the requested analysis.

AI-generated nutrition information is an estimate and can be inaccurate. You should review and adjust results when needed.

We use your information to provide the app, sync your account, calculate goals, estimate nutrition, track progress, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand app usage and improve features.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers that help us operate Deglem, including authentication, backend hosting, AI analysis, payment processing, and notification services.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users, or to protect the security and integrity of Deglem.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Some app data may be stored locally on your device. If you delete the app or clear local data, locally stored weight progress photos and unsynced data may be lost.

You can update profile details in the app and control meal reminder settings from your profile. You can also choose not to provide photos or context for meal analysis.

To request account or data deletion, contact us using the support channel provided for Deglem.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Deglem changes. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide notice where appropriate.
